This is a story of a group of disabled veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan (amputee, traumatic brain injury, burns) that have come to California from Brooke Army medical center rehab to learn how to surf.

A work in progress, featuring several wounded war vets of America's armed forces, experiencing the ocean's healing powers as they learn how to surf for the first time.
